PROGRAM PHILOSOPHY:
Freedom House provides a clean, welcoming and safe environment for women seeking recovery from alcohol and drug addiction. In addition, we teach the recovering addict and alcoholic the skills they need to live a clean and sober productive life while maintaining their support system- free from addiction.
Our homes are located in Bucks County, PA at the center of a thriving and welcoming recovery community offering club houses, extensive meeting schedules, hospitals, community centers, transportation, and employment opportunities. Our homes are families for our female residents as we seek to integrate and orient the whole individual in a real world setting . Over time, our female residents become productive members of the community, often returning to the families and careers they lost to their addiction.
|
PROGRAM GOALS:
Freedom House is dedicated to the overall well being of each female resident, regardless of their past. Our goal is to assist the individual in becoming responsible and productive members of society. We do this by helping our residents become reacquainted with the ethical and spiritual perspectives of the 12 step program as a means of finding and maintaining a relationship with a Power greater than themselves.
We aim to build the foundations that allow our graduates to continue to grow and prosper, free of addiction. Our "house unity" brings together people from a common background seeking a common solution to their common problem.
